POSITIVE NOT PERMISSIVE

I am a Positive Reinforcement trainer but not a permissive one. I believe that shock collars and prong collars are the last resort to stop unwanted behaviors after all other options failed. A vast majority of dogs never need them and respond well to Positive Reinforcement and gentle guiding corrections.

CRITICAL SKILLS

I will build a strong foundation of these skills: sit, down, come when called, lose-leash walking, no biting, no jumping, polite greeting, and park on the cot. The program is very successful when the owners upkeep the training to have a well-adapted, and polite dog. I specialize in already potty-trained puppies and companion dogs (NO AGGRESSION CASES OR ANXIETIES.) My system is proven with long-term results.

I offer FREE in-home visits (not to exceed one visit every 3 months) for the life of the dog.

LOGISTICS

I take only 2 dogs at a time. They stay in my guest bedroom and are incorporated into my family.

SOCIALIZATION

Dogs go on trips more times than the industry standard. We go shopping not only at pet stores but big retailers allowing dogs - Bass Pro Shop, Cabellas, Antique Warehouse, At Home, etc. We walk at the White Water Center, Freedom Park and Huntersville Promenade.

Before your dog returns, I will send you a 30-40 minute video explaining why and how we do the exercises. Then I show you how I work with YOUR dog. I also send written instructions. 99% percent of my clients are happy and do not call me back even for a second session.

How long is the program?

The program is 3 weeks. It takes only 2 weeks to train a dog. First week of the three is spent on bonding, relaxing, getting used to each other, and getting used to the routine.

Why hire you vs. a cheaper dog trainer or a large dog training chain?

provide longer lasting results. I am one of a few professionally educated dog trainers (real school and not an online test). I spend thousands each year on continued education (including Veterinary Conferences). In large dog training chains, different trainers work with your dog for 15 minutes twice a day. I exceed these standards.

How old should be the puppy to enter the program?

16 weeks or older. The dog must sleep through the night. Bordatella, DHPP and Rabies vaccines are required.

What is the cost of the program?

3 week program is ONLY $1828 (after 15% COVID relief discount from $2150 through 12/31/20). I work fully prepaid and accept checks or debit and credit cards via PayPal. The dog goes home freshly bathed. I send your dog home with a cot, a harness, treats and a toy.
